Our story

Redux Bakery started in 2022 as from one man’s love for cake and desire to use his background as a scientist to revolutionize the traditional methods of baking. Redux Bakery now sells a daily selection of cakes and cookies both online and via delivery.

Cake should be an anytime occasion—both special and commonplace, a meal meant to bring people together, and one as sweet as the community it gathers. Our passion is built from the joy of our customers; welcome to our family.

Simple Beginnings

Our sourdough starter is the basis of most of our breads here at Redux. This began from local airborne yeast strains native to California’s Santa Barbara coastline; after having lived in the area in my twenties. All cupcake recipes were tested in early stages on friends and coworkers, thank you everyone for the continued support. I began tempering chocolate for bonbons by hand and eventually was able to purchase tempering machines, decorative moulds, and added a variety of delectable fillings. These should be out seasonally during holiday times: Valentines, Easter, Mothers and Fathers Day, Halloween, and the Winter Holidays. Finally; cookies I learned to make from my mother, who always blessed our family with wonderful holiday gift baskets. I hope anything you purchase here at Redux gives me that same childhood joy of a warm chocolate chip cookie with your family.
